Maryellen Saenger, LMHC
Maryellen Saenger is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who has been with SFCS since July 2015. She is a graduate of the College of New Rochelle, which was the first graduate program in Westchester to offer the LMHC degree program. Prior to joining SFCS, Maryellen worked at White Plains Hospital in their department of behavioral health. She is a certified anxiety and phobia treatment counselor, and specializes in working with geriatric clients. In her role as Coordinator of Aging in Place Initiative, Maryellen provides outreach, in-home counseling and other social supportive services to Scarsdale residents age 65 and older. Maryellen also holds an MBA in Finance from Fordham University, and she is currently the Treasurer of the New York Mental Health Counselors’ Association Westchester Chapter.
