EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES
Thank you for your interest in Scarsdale Edgemont Family Counseling Service (SFCS).  We are a nationally accredited, not–for–profit ,  family counseling agency providing social and emotional support and professional mental health services to those individuals living or working in the greater Scarsdale area.

Founded in 1920, SFCS grew from a Scarsdale Women’s Club committee called Scarsdale Community Service, which included a nursing service established fifteen years earlier. Support from private donations, benefit parties and a thrift shop established the agency.  Today, SFCS is a vibrant and progressive organization providing professional mental health and preventative services to individuals age 5 through the end of the life cycle.  Our services are delivered through multiple outlets, including our school and community based services as well as through individual service appointments.

SFCS is here to help families, couples and individuals address day to day challenges including emotional and behavioral issues such as depression and anxiety and to work through life transitions such as adolescence, divorce and aging parents.  We use a family systems approach to treatment in all of our programs, understanding the complex interactions that occur within families.  At SFCS, we believe families matter and that healthy families are the cornerstone of a healthy community.

EQUAL EMPLOYMENT PHILOSOPHY
