Lauren Pomerantz is a Licensed Clinical Social and the Senior Youth Outreach Worker at the High School level. Lauren joined the SFCS staff in October 2005 and serves as the Youth Service Project team leader and the Parent Support Group coordinator. Additionally, Lauren is the lead trainer for the Peer Leadership Program and each year, she organizes and moderates the Freshman Orientation, the Safe Driving Assembly and the Teen Dating Violence Assembly. Lauren is the coordinator and one of the original founding members of the Scarsdale Coalition on Family Violence. Prior to her work in Scarsdale, Lauren provided crisis intervention services for New York City youth. Lauren obtained her Bachelor of Science from University of Massachusetts-Amherst and her Masters Degree in Social Work from New York University.
