Our specialized programs for teens in the Middle and High Schools provide a safe, supportive and fun environment for Scarsdale teens and tweens.
These groups promote positive peer relationships and leadership building, focusing on inclusiveness, decision making about a variety of teen challenges including substance abuse, bullying, healthy relationships and the pressures of adolescent social life.
PEER LEADERSHIP:
A program that develops growth and leadership for teens by mentoring younger students. Peer Leaders help lead the 9th grade orientation, and work with small groups of freshman on topics such as positive decision making and social challenges. Peer Leadership has limited enrollment for 11th and 12th graders and meets bi-weekly on weekday evenings.
